Basswood Shutters

Sublime’s Basswood shutters are made from premium plantation Basswood, light in colour, uniform in texture with a distinct straight grain, the perfect choice for a stained finish. As with our Poplar shutters, our Basswood shutters are constructed using an engineered fluted mortise and tenon joint system coupled with a waterproof aquahere glue giving connecting points immense strength and panel greater stability.

Our Basswood shutters come in a range of 10 standard stain colours. Once stained they are sealed then sanded 3 times before the final top coat is applied. This process gives the final product a smooth and more even finish. Custom stains are also available on request.
